Working Shop Foreperson
Emerson Metal Works Inc. is looking for an efficient, motivated, Working Shop Foreperson for a full time position in a custom metal fabrication shop.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily supervising of 3-10 employees
- Training shop personnel
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Organize and delegate work orders
- Hands on labour
- On-site Installations
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
The encumbent must have the following qualifications:
- Candidate must have a minimum of 8 years experience as a shop foreman
- Must have a broad knowledge and ability to operate shop tools and machinery
- Candidate with CWB supervisor certification preferred
- Organizational, communication and troubleshooting skills required
- Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints
